Maurice “Mo” Sackey, 29, is a native of Ghana, West Africa and now lives in Mooresville, N.C. Sackey has been weight training since he was 13 years old, and is arguably the strongest member of the D4D Crew Member Development program.
Sackey has been working in motorsports part-time, having competed with teams in the Hooters Pro Cup Series, ARCA Re/Max Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series. He sees his participation in the Drive for Diversity Crew Member Development program presented by Sprint as a way to take his abilities to the next level and become a top carrier in the sport.
Sackey works full-time for Metrolina Greenhouses and trains seven days a week.
