Favian Vanderburg, 31, is an all-around athlete from Mooresville, N.C. Vanderburg played football and basketball, and also ran track at Mooresville High School. He was an all-state cornerback on the football field, and three-time All-American.
Vanderburg went on to play football at Santa Rosa (Calif.) Community College and the University of California – Berkeley before joining the Berlin Fire of the European Football League.
Since 2005, Vanderburg has worked to translate his athletic ability into a career as a tire carrier. He was a member of Frank Kimmel’s 2005 and 2006 ARCA Re/Max Series championship teams.
Vanderburg enjoys lifting weights and training, and hopes to soon be showcasing his talent for some of NASCAR’s top teams.
