Joshua Edwards, 24, is a native of Ocala, Fla., and has been playing sports all of his life. In high school, Edwards was a four-sport athlete, playing baseball, basketball, football and lacrosse. He was an All-State Defender on the lacrosse team for three years and won two state football championships as a tight end on the varsity football team.
Edwards went on to play college football and lacrosse, and is now looking to continue his athletic career as a member of the Drive for Diversity Crew Member Development program presented by Sprint.
Edwards has worked for a number of late model teams, helping out on race day where ever he can. He also traveled to South Africa as a crew member with Marc Davis Motorsports for the ASA Transcontinental Series Free State 500. Now with the Drive for Diversity Crew Member Development program presented by Sprint, he is training as a jackman and going over-the-wall for the No. 16 Coulter Motorsports ARCA Racing Series team.
